@chihuahuazero Periodically I have posted something with a glaring error and then hurriedly taken it down so that I could fix it, but most of the time that doesn’t happen.
I wonder if that is what has happened to some of the posts you have seen.
I have deleted one post. And I probably shouldn’t have deleted it. The only reason I did, was that so many people complained about. It was a review of a business. And the thing is that I reviewed it about four years ago, and I was very negative. The business had changed a lot (according to the people that contacted me), and my review was still at the top of Google 🙂
Â
I didn’t want to keep receiving all the complaints, and to me, this post was just a random post I wrote many years ago.
Â
But, I have thought a lot about deleting old posts, posts that are not really related to what I write about anymore. The reason I haven’t is that they are evidence of how things used to be in the past, and that might be interesting some day – who knows right?
@Jens For a long time I didn’t delete anything because I liked having the chronicle of my life and I thought that it would be of interest.
But lately I have come across many posts that are tied into broken links that prevent me from really seeing what happened. So those posts I have gotten rid of, but I still don’t like it.

I haven’t deleted anything either, as I remember.

When I see that a post has been deleted minutes after it went up, it dumbfounds me.

I haven’t deleted any – even the really early stinkers – but there are *plenty* that I haven’t published, taunting me. 🙂 Â
TheJackB says
@jasonkonopinski I know how that goes. I have a number that taunt me too. Hate that.

@TheJackB Mostly they’re the cathartic braindumps that’ll be sitting in limbo forever.Â

I haven’t deleted anything. I just started and its nice if you’re not deleting, so you will see the history and progress of your blog. Thank you.

@african mango supplement I generally don’t allow free ads to run on the blog.

@TheJackB I still haven’t checked my blog for broken links. That’s on my list of things to do. Did you use a plugin for that?
TheJackB says
@Jens I did. I have to check the name, it is something like Broken Link checker. I use the free version.
Jens says
@TheJackB interesting. Do you remember if it also checks the comments (like commentluv links)?
TheJackB says
 @Jens I think it does.
