If someone asked you to identify you 5 best posts would you be able to do it?
What would you use to make that determination? Would it be based upon your personal feeling or do you have a different set of metrics in mind?
Let me know in the comments, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Jens P. Berget says
That would be hard. I would not pick the five posts with most comments, that would have been the easiest way to do it. It would probably be based upon feelings, the posts that it was either the hardest to write or the ones that I’m most proud of writing. But, I’d have to go through all of my posts to remember them all.

@berget:disqus Sometimes I wonder if I would have the patience to go through all of my old posts and how I would feel about them. I suspect I would pick my ‘best’ the same way you described.
Jens P. Berget says
I’ve been thinking about going through all my old posts, and delete the ones that I don’t like. I’ve been writing a lot of “bad” posts a long time ago. What’s your thought on deleting old “not so good” posts?
The JackB says
I am cautious about what I delete. Sometimes I like keeping some of the ‘bad’ ones because I use them as a benchmark to see how my writing has improved.
Jens P. Berget says
that’s a good idea
Larry Bernstein says
Tough questions sir. I suppose the ones that were the most meaningful to me rather than ones that may have drawn more attention. When that happens in combo – you got something!
The JackB says
That combos is special. Hasn’t happened as much as I might like, but hope springs eternal.
Stan Faryna says
I’m hopeful for that day when the numbers always match up with my heart.
I’ve got posts that had a 100k readers and the content is not how I want to be remembered.
Most of the posts that mean the most to me had less than a 100 readers with only a few exceptions (a few thousand reads).
Off the top of my head, I can only think of two exceptions:
Tribute to Maya Angelou

If tomorrow was your last day

Two is better than none. I suspect you had more winners than you realize.
