Or 1948, when a coalition of Arab states fought to prevent the newly declared state from coming into existence? In other words, was the intifada about how much of the territories Israel would withdraw from, or was Israel still fighting for its very existence? ”
So many people on the left have found themselves in the position of re-evaluating their thoughts and ideas about the peace process. It has been very disheartening, but this is part of an evolutionary process that will lead to some type of conclusion. The real question remains what kind of measures will it take to bring peace.

I now find myself wondering if peace is truly attainable? And do all parties really want it?
