India intrigues me. It is on my list of places to visit. I know quite a few people who have been there with mixed results. For the most part the stories I have been have been quite positive. I can’t tell you exactly why I am interested, just that I am.
On a somewhat related note I have been listening to some Daler Mehndi videos. Too bad I don’t speak Hindi, I wonder what it is he saying.

Jameel,
Indian Waffles! Keep your eyes open, we can make a fortune.
Mark,
I have heard similar stories. They usually go along the lines of “the poor in India make our poor people look rich,”
Jacob,
It is a bit of a drive from here.
Stacey,
Didn’t we already buy our tickets.

Been there. Along with Nepal, Afghanistan and other places it’s oner of the locales to which I have traveled that left me with a healthy respect for how good we have it in this country.
Along with the scenic beauty of all of the places I’ve been one can’t help but take in the socio-economic situation as well.
It’s experiences like this that I was fortunate enough to have that make me question some POV of people in this country who have never been outside our borders.

I’m going there soon…will give you a full report.
