I'd like to hear some of those impressions. In fact, I think it is time for you to get moving on those.
And don't fool yourself, you and Lovie are still young,

i listened to this earlier today and was in the middle of responding when my day decided to take me off in a different direction. when i got back to my computer, i accidentally closed my browser, hence the no comment.
doing one's best is a tricky proposition, but it's something lovie and i feel we (at least try to) do each and every day. we're in a tough stretch right now w/ three toddlers and countless stresses our everyday lives dump upon us. and at 40, it's not like we're spring chickens trying to pull this off.
but i digress. nice snippet here.
i like your audio posts. i'd like to do one that showcases my uncanny impersonation skills. as i mentioned in a comment on CK_Lunchbox, i do a mean rodney dangerfield, and a pretty damn impressive elmo, as well. ron suggested i try to combine the two and do a tickle me rodney, but that sounds like little more than an fat, drunk, irish perv.

Life is a roller coaster that goes up and down. The hard part is trying to find that quiet moment to catch our breath and consider the best options for whatever it is we wish to do.

I like to mix it up a bit. Done the audio and video posts a bunch of times. I go back and forth on what I am willing to do, at least in some areas. So many variables to consider, once you start there is no turning back.

I love the audio post too, it's so nice to hear your voice. I think my struggle is trying to even define what my personal "best" is. When I fail I'm not convinced I tried my best even when I thought at the time that I was giving it. I'm fully aware that I need to adjust the way I think, so maybe one day I'll look back and say I did my best. It's not as depressing as it sounds, as you know I'm going through some stuff so I'm working on it. Anyway, here's to trying and not giving up.

I have not tried an audio post yet! What a good idea. I've only ever seen that movie once so I can't really remember the character, but what you say is true. What are we willing to do to get something done? It's not really a matter of IF it can be done, just what we're willing to lose in order to get it. So true.
