Been wrestling with coding issues on a variety of posts, most recently on one that received some nice comments.
Thing is, if you look at the link I put up you won’t see any of the comments. It was imported from an old blog of mine on Blogger and there are comments there that you won’t see here.
Actually that’s because I ran the post a second time here, so if you dug through the archives you would find it when it was originally posted 11 years ago and not the link I used to the 10-year edition.
That one had nice comments too, but they aren’t rendering now either and I am not sure why.
One of these days I have to figure that out because the comments sometimes provide context that is lost without them.
The thing is there are so many different issues here I haven’t got the time to deal with all at once so I take it on piecemeal and go from there.
That is the glory and shame of blogging for 18 years. There is an enormous amount of content and the detritus of theme changes, plugins and what have you.
Sometimes I think about ditching it all, but I always come back to the same places with that. There is some junk here, but there is also gold that I would miss.

The problem might not be your fault, but the fault of Blogspot. I looked up the profiles of the commenters (yeah, I did that lol), and both authors have multiple blogs/websites. The lady has two entities, one a sales page and one a blog. The sales page was created in the early 2000’s and has never been updated. The guy has 4 entities, two of which are dead, one is more of a resume page, and the last is still active. In both cases, the links go to the “my properties” page than their actual blog; that probably explains things because there’s nowhere to travel across from.
At least that’s my thinking… 🙂

I think it might have been me. I think I might have screwed up some of the settings. Seems to me the comments have reappeared and I suspect I can’t blame the coding.
Want to, prefer to but it might be my own blunder.
